Access Anvisa's public consultation
Use the button below or the easy address: bit.ly/consultavape
Identify yourself
Fill in the fields with your “full name”, “email”, “national or international”, “country or state” and whether you are a “legal entity or natural person”.
If a legal entity, that is, a company, new fields will be presented for identification.
If you are an individual, you must answer whether you are a health professional, researcher, consumer or other.
Give your opinion
There are three ways to contribute to the public consultation, there is no “right” or “wrong” way, only one that is best suited to your profile.
A) “I would like to leave opinions, arguments or justifications about the proposed standard.”
Recommended option for consumers to send their testimonials and general considerations. If you use a vape and don’t want it to remain banned in Brazil, this is the option you can choose.
When choosing this choice, a new field will open asking: “Are you in favor of this proposed standard?”.
Reply “I HAVE ANOTHER OPINION” and proceed to fill in the next field.
Tell your story with vaping, if you stopped smoking with a vape, what happened in your life and health and show that you do not agree with the ban that Anvisa wants to determine on the topic in Brazil.
B) “I wish to contribute to the articles/annexes of the proposed standard that is under Public Consultation.”
This option is designed to contribute individually to each proposed article of new legislation. Directed to specific contributions with each point, with fields for proposed changes and justification.
Recommended for those who want to make a more detailed and specific contribution to each point. Consumers are invited to also participate in this way, while healthcare professionals and specialists will certainly use this option.
C) Choosing both options
It is possible to respond to the public consultation by checking both options, for those who want to contribute fully.
Last question: negative impacts
The last question is “Do you consider that the proposed standard has impacts:” with the option to answer “positive”, “negative” and “positive and negative”.
We suggest choosing the item NEGATIVES, which will open a last field to complement with text.
We offer on this page a lot of information and arguments to support this choice, among them: the illegal market will continue to grow, the prohibition does not protect youth, it criminalizes current consumers and goes against the science that has already proven that these are less harmful products and that they help stop smoking, which is why more than 100 countries now allow controlled trade of these products.
Click the "send" button and that's it!
You have just contributed to Brazil having more adequate public health policies.
